BRISTOL, CT, August 30, 2017 — The two Bristol Catholic Schools are planning their first-ever Alumni Family and Friends Masses for the weekend of September 30-October 1. Catholic education has a long and rich history in the City of Bristol, and there are many alumni and supporters both near and far. In the spirit of celebrating the past and looking forward to the future, St. Joseph and St. Matthew Schools would like to invite all current and former students, families, teachers, and parishioners to join in special Masses on Saturday, 9/30 and Sunday, 10/1. The Mass at St. Joseph Church will take place at 4:00 on Saturday, while the St. Matthew Mass will take place at 11:30 AM on Sunday. Former students and families of St. Ann, St Stanislaus, Our Lady of Mercy, and St. Anthony Schools are invited and welcome to attend either Mass!
Once Mass concludes, participants will be invited to visit the corresponding school where they can talk to a few of the current teachers and visit with fellow alumni and families. Current students will provide school tours and light refreshments will be served. Come and see how our schools remain rooted in the tenets of a strong Catholic education while preparing students for the 21st century!
