The Office for Catholic Social Justice Ministry of the Archdiocese of Hartford will sponsor its ninth annual Social Justice Conference, on Saturday, June 9th, at the St. Thomas Seminary, 467 Bloomfield Avenue, Bloomfield.
The conference will feature keynote address by Joan Rosenahuer, former VP, U.S. Operations, Catholic Relief Services. Participants will have the opportunity to select among 12 diverse workshop topics including human trafficking, racism, and peace and nonviolence. Simultaneous translation will be available for the keynote and four workshops will be offered in Spanish.
