The Archdiocese of Hartford celebrates Respect Life Month with an annual Mass held at the Mother Church, the Cathedral of St. Joseph, in Hartford sponsored by Pro-Life Ministry. Archbishop Leonard P. Blair will be the principal celebrant.
Each year during the Respect Life Mass, persons who have supported the pro-life mission in a special way are honored with the St. Gianna Berretta Molla award and presented with a medal by the Archbishop. St. Gianna, Patron Saint of Mothers, Physicians, and the Unborn, gave her life to preserve the life of her unborn child.
Parish Pro-Life Representatives, Pro-Life Advocates, and all who are dedicated to the dignity of the human person and reverence for every life are invited to attend.
