01-04-2018. Due to the weather, the Wake for Monsignor Liptak has been postponed. It will be held tomorrow at the Cathedral at 9:00 a.m., prior to the Mass of Christian Burial, which is still scheduled to take place at 11:00 a.m.
The Reverend Monsignor David Quentin Liptak, Class of 1953, died Monday, January 1, 2018. We extend our deep sympathy to Monsignor Liptak’s family, former parishioners and friends at this time of sorrow and offer them our prayerful support.
- A Wake will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph, 140 Farmington Avenue, Hartford.
- The Most Reverend Leonard P. Blair will be the principal celebrant at the Mass of Christian Burial at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph, on Friday, January 5, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Saint Michael Cemetery in Stratford.
