CT Catholic Men's ConferenceHARTFORD, Conn. (October 9, 2018) –The 11th annual Connecticut Catholic Men’s Conference will be held on Saturday, October 20th at St. Paul High School, 1001 Stafford Ave., Bristol from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This year’s theme, “Go Into the Whole World,” based on the scripture of Mark 16:15, calls on men to bravely and proudly proclaim their Catholic Faith.

The day will be filled with spiritual discussions, prayer and reflection, and include a distinguished line-up of speakers: Fr. Bill Casey from the Congregation of the Fathers of Mercy; Bob Kroll, founder of With All Your Heart; Doug Hoffman, a deacon from the Diocese of Norwich; and Jason Calvi, a reporter for EWTN and the Global Catholic Network. There will also be a variety of faith-based exhibitors providing information, handouts, and merchandise.

Sam Todzia, founder of Red Barn Ministries and Meat and Greet, will serve as the master of ceremonies. Rev. James Sullivan, pastor of Assumption Parish in Ansonia, is the chaplain.

“This is an opportunity for men to come together to receive spiritual enrichment and experience Catholic fellowship,” said Chaplain Rev. James Sullivan. “We hope that when they leave the conference, they will have felt the presence of the Holy Spirit and share the gifts they received during the day with their families.”

During the day, there will be an opportunity for Adoration and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. In addition, Archbishop Leonard P. Blair will conduct a question and answer session. He will conclude the conference by celebrating Mass at 4 p.m.
