Theology: Jesus – Life, Death and Resurrection (Coming Soon!)
My Emmaus Formation Program

The third part of this module provides you with time to reflect on what the Creed means to you now, after you have completed the activities in Part Two: Explore. There is one activity with three (3) parts to be completed. You will need your Downloadable Guide and your journal.

Part One

Begin your reflection by watching the video of John Burland’s song, “I Believe.” He introduces the songs with these words:

“Music is a powerful way to engage our hearts and minds to declare what we believe. When we affirm our faith together, we stand as one and are strengthened. This is the message of my new song, ‘I Believe,’ and I hope that as you listen, it inspires you to joyously proclaim your faith!”

Part Two

Use column #4 on the Nicene Creed Worksheet to record your thoughts on what the Creed means to you now.

Part Three

After you complete the activity, use your journal to record your thoughts to the following question:

  • How can what I believe influence and shape my relationship with God and how I live my faith?
