Sr. Jewel Renna, CND, founder and first director of the Hartford Biblical School, long-time employee of the old Office of Religious Education and long-time teacher at Notre Dame Academy in Waterbury (now closed), died on December 22, 2019 at the age of 91.

A Memorial Service will be held on January 21 at 2:00 p.m., to take place at SS. Peter and Paul Church (of Mary, Mother of the Church Parish), 67 Southmayd Road, Waterbury, CT. (Handicapped access available at the rectory side church entrance.)
