Deacon Robert F. Wallin was ordained by the Most Rev. John F. Whealon on June 3, 1983. Deacon Wallin began his diaconal ministry at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Waterbury soon after. He would then be asked to serve for several years at Saint Joseph Church in New Haven before returning to Saints Peter and Paul. Following his time there, he also served at Saint Leo Church in Waterbury and Saint John of the Cross Church in Middlebury before finally returning to Waterbury in 2010 to begin his final assignment at Saint Lucy Church and Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
