Overview:
The Archdiocese of Hartford seeks a professional, organized Administrative Assistant to support the Auxiliary Bishop. This role ensures effective coordination between the Auxiliary Bishop’s office and various Archdiocesan departments, parishes, schools, and external contacts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage calendar, appointments, and travel for the Auxiliary Bishop
  • Coordinate events, meetings, and liturgical celebrations
  • Handle correspondence, phone calls, and office records
  • Maintain confidential files and information
  • Collaborate with Archdiocesan staff and offices
  • Prepare meeting agendas and minutes
  • Support communication and outreach efforts

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of administrative assistant experience
  • Associate degree required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
  • Knowledge of the Catholic Church and its mission
  • Ability to occasionally work evenings/weekends and travel locally
