Deacon Raul Cardona passed away on Monday January 6, 2025 at the age of 83. Deacon Cardona was ordained on December 12, 1983, and served at Saint Rose of Lima in Meriden, Most Holy Trinity in Wallingford, and Saint Mary in New Britain parishes until his retirement in 2021. He is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Gilda Cardona, his beloved children Elyna, David, and Michael, his children’s spouses Louis Perillo, Ixsia Martell-Cardona, and Lizbeth Cardona, and his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Ryan, Alex, Michael, Gisele, Reese, and Miles. - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Monday January 13 at St. Rose of Lima Church, 35 Center Street, Meriden, CT
- Calling Hours will be on Sunday January 12 from 4:00 – 7:00pm at St. Rose of Lima Church, 35 Center Street, Meriden, CT
