Deacon Thomas Bailey passed away on December 26, 2023 at the age of 102. He was ordained on June 22, 1985 by Archbishop Whealon, and was assigned to St. Therese Parish in Branford. He served there until his relocation to Cape Cod in 1988.

Deacon Bailey leaves his wife of 72 years, Joan Arnold Bailey, three children, Alice Bailey Boyd of Scituate MA, Thomas Caldwell Bailey Jr (Mary Jo) of Dedham, MA and Richard D Bailey (Christina) of Scituate, MA.
