Deacon William H. Wilcox was ordained at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph by the Most Rev. John F. Whealon on June 27, 1980. Following his Ordination, Deacon Wilcox served for many years at Saint Joseph Church in Winsted, where he would remain until retiring from active ministry in 2007.
