Reverend Vito C. DeCarolis, Class of 1954, died Friday, July 8, 2022. Fr. DeCarolis served at many parishes in the Archdiocese prior to his retirement in the roles of assistant and pastor, including St. Jude in Derby, Our Lady of Lourdes in Waterbury, St. Peter in Torrington, St. Vincent Ferrer in Naugatuck, Immaculate Conception in Waterbury, and St. Mary in Milford. We extend our deepest sympathy to Fr. DeCarolis’ loved ones at this time of loss and offer them our prayerful support.

• The Most Reverend Leonard P. Blair will be the principal celebrant of the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Vincent Ferrer Church on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at 11 AM.
• Concelebrating priests and vesting deacons are to gather in the classrooms adjacent to the pastor’s office. These are located on the left as you enter the church building. A parish staff member will be present to direct you.
• The burial will follow the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol.
