Job Summary:

The SVDP Resource Center Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading the daily operations of the Triage, Diversion, Outreach, and Housing programs of the Saint Vincent De Paul Mission of Bristol, Inc. (SVDP). The SVDP Resource Center Manager is key to a team approach and commitment to ending homelessness in our community working from a Housing First, Harm Reduction, Person Centered approach.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the SVDP Resource Center, Diversion, Outreach and Housing programs
  • Provide supervision, monitoring, reporting and support to the Diversion Specialist, Outreach Specialist, Housing Coordinator, Receptionist and Volunteers
  • Creates processes, develops policies, a structure of accountability, and documentation of outcomes to ensure and demonstrate programs successes
  • Provide services in a culturally competent manner and uphold elements of trauma sensitive care
  • Ability and willingness to work with diverse populations, individually and as a part of a team, with a commitment to ending homelessness in our community working from a Harm Reduction, Housing First, Person Centered approach
  • Maintain and expand community contacts and resources to better serve clients and share with immediate staff

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in related field
  • Master of Social Work (MSW) a plus
  • Minimum two years Homelessness Services and Housing Placement experience required
  • Minimum two years supervisory experience required
