On this third Friday of Lent with the Lord, we join Fr. Joe MacNeill, Parochial Vicar of Bl. Michael McGivney Parish in New Haven, CT. He reflects on the third word, “Woman, behold your son…Son, behold your mother.” These words spoken by Jesus at the moment of fulfillment of Simeon’s prophecy, are words that grant us the ultimate intercessor. One who takes our prayers to her divine Son, who hears and answers them.
