Holy Family Retreat Center will host a pre-Thanksgiving ecumenical service on Monday evening, Nov. 25. Members of the community from all religious and cultural backgrounds are invited to come together in Holy Family’s main chapel to pray and worship in a spirit of unity, gratitude and love.
Bishop Peter Rosazza of the Archdiocese of Hartford, Rabbi Donna Berman, executive director of the Charter Oak Cultural Center, and Dr. Shyamala Raman, Professor Emerita at the University of St. Joseph, will be among the presenters at the service, which begins at 7 p.m. The evening will include scripture, music, and reflections by the various speakers celebrating the diversity and friendship espoused by people of faith.
