Why is Easter Called Easter? will be presented at Our Lady of Calvary Retreat Center, Farmington from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday April 1, 2020. Join us for a fun exploration of Easter. Learn why the celebration of Christ’s resurrection is called Easter and about the origin of many of our Easter traditions. We’ll take a look at dyeing Easter eggs, the Easter bunny, Hot Cross Buns, and more!
The program will include a presentation by Sister Mary Ann Strain, CP followed by an egg decoration workshop led by Cheryl Pietrycha and an Easter themed lunch.
