The Ancient Order of Hibernians Hartford Division 2 is sponsoring a Christmas Toy/Gift Card Drive on Saturday, December 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Collection will take place at Christ the King Parish (Wethersfield) on the Silas Deane Highway in the parking lot between the church and the Silas Deane Middle School.

The toys and gift cards will be given to children as part of “The Giving Tree” program at Saint Augustine Church in Hartford. Please consider bringing new and unwrapped toys and gift cards to stores such as Target, Walmart and Barnes & Noble.

Everyone that donates to the drive will receive a coupon for a free Irish cream from our friends at Vaughan’s Public House on Pratt Street in downtown Hartford.

We will also be selling our “famous” March Raffle Calendars at the drive for $10 each, which make great stocking stuffers!
