Dr. Sheila Kuzmic, a retired pediatrician, will be the guest speaker on Sept. 11, 9 a.m. to noon, at a breakfast sponsored by the Bristol chapter of Magnificat. Kuzmic, who resides in Westerly, R.I., with her husband, Joseph, and their three children, has been a lifelong parishioner of St. Pius X Parish and is a daily communicant and adorer of the Blessed Sacrament. She is a well-known Catholic pro-life speaker and served many years as a guest catechist to confirmation age youth in many parishes throughout the diocese. Currently, she is a member of the “Love Crucified” Catholic community of Covington, Ga., where she is now a professed lay Mother of the Cross. Kuzmic shares her passionate love for Christ Crucified and how, as one with Our Lady of Sorrows, she has been called to participate more intimately with Jesus in his sufferings for souls.
The breakfast will be held at Double Tree by Hilton, 42 Century Drive, Bristol. Guest check in will begin at 8:30 a.m. Tickets will not be available at the door.
