Deacon Edward J. Pantalena, Sr. was ordained at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph by the Most Rev. John F. Whealon on December 11, 1977. Following his Ordination, Deacon Pantalena served at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Hamden, the Church of the Epiphany in Cheshire, and Most Holy Trinity Church in Wallingford. After nearly four decades of ministry, he retired from active ministry in 2014.
