Deacon Thomas P. Scanlon, ordained a deacon in 1993, died on Saturday, December 12, 2020. Deacon Scanlon most recently served as a Deacon of Saint Mary’s Church in Simsbury. Please keep his children and all of his family in your prayers.

A short biography of his ministerial work:
Deacon Thomas P. Scanlon was ordained at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph by the Most Rev. Daniel A. Cronin on June 12, 1993. Following his Ordination, Deacon Scanlon served for several years at Saint Bernard’s Church in Tariffville. He would next offer his ministerial service for the parish community of Saint Mary’s Church in Simsbury, where he would remain until retiring from active ministry in 2006.
