Deacon Wayne F. Griffin was ordained at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph by the Most Rev. John F. Whealon on June 21, 1986. Following his Ordination, Deacon Griffin began his ministerial work at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Wallingford. He would next serve at Saint Thomas and Immaculate Conception Churches in Southington, Saint Barnabas Church in North Haven, and Saint Francis of Assisi Church in New Britain before receiving his final assignment at Saint Aloysius Parish in Plantsville.
