Reverend A. Leo Spodnik, born June 5, 1922 died at the age of 101 on Monday, September 4, 2023. Father Leo was ordained on May 27, 1948 and was a priest for 75 years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM  at St. Leo the Great Church 14 Bentwood Drive in Waterbury (Mary, Mother of the Church Parish) by the Most Reverend Leonard P. Blair, Archbishop of Hartford.

Burial will follow in the Priests Section, Mount St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield.
