Reverend Daniel James Sullivan, Class of 1963, died Thursday, August 17, 2023, at CT Hospice in Branford. Father Sullivan served in many assignments during his 60 years of priestly ministry, most recently at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Hamden, in various capacities, for almost 27 years. We extend our deepest sympathy to Father Sullivan’s loved ones at this time of loss and offer them our prayerful support.
  • The Wake will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, St. Paul VI Parish, in Hamden. Calling hours will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
  • The Most Reverend Juan Miguel Betancourt, Auxiliary Bishop of Hartford, will be the principal celebrant of the Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, St. Paul VI Parish, on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 11:00 AM
The burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
